Acetone vs Non-Acetone Nail Polish Remover
- Acetone Remover: Dissolves nail polish rapidly — most effective for dark, glitter, and gel nail colours. Stronger and faster than non-acetone but can be drying on the nail and surrounding skin with frequent use. Not recommended for those with very dry or brittle nails
- Non-Acetone Remover: Uses milder solvents (Ethyl Acetate, Isopropyl Alcohol) — gentler on nails and cuticles but requires more product and more effort to remove stubborn or long-wear polishes. Better choice for regular use on natural nails
- Recommendation: Acetone for gel removal or dark shades; non-acetone for regular nail colour maintenance
