Serum vs Ampoule — What's the Difference?
Serums are lightweight, fast-absorbing liquids with a high concentration of active ingredients designed for daily use. Ampoules are often formulated for intensive, targeted care and are commonly used as short-term treatments. Think of serums as your daily targeted treatment and ampoules as your intensive course treatment for accelerated change.

How to Layer Serums Correctly
- Apply from thinnest to thickest texture — watery essences before gel serums before cream serums
- Wait 30–60 seconds between layers to allow each to absorb before the next
- Vitamin C is always AM — follow with SPF for antioxidant protection
- Retinol is always PM — introduce slowly (2–3x/week) to build tolerance
- Do not mix: avoid layering Vitamin C with AHA/BHA or Retinol in the same application
- Maximum 2–3 serums per routine for optimal absorption
